Yeah he came from the bgmod.com forums with a post about how AP is a bit corrupted.

It starts out alright and makes a fair point here and there.
Then after it concludes; he sends me a weird PM basicly saying that AP isn't the lead server in BG2, when in fact it is, then he tried to compare it to a popular server in a different game?
Continuing on about how because AP is modded it's no longer an official server so on and so on, the stuff we've all heard. Then closes with how AP is only a haven for racists. Nothing but drama as if he's got it all figured out.

Maybe he never read the MOTD or any of the older posts on bgmod.com? Who knows, we'll probably still see him in the server wether we like him or not.

Hairy, in my PM to you I mentioned how BG2 devs don't acknowledge the "HP Mod" as an official part of BG2. Even if you did include it, BG2 only has six or so servers, so being "lead server" means nothing here. I've hosted servers with more average players than AP's peak players, before.

And I am not saying people here know me personally, in real life. Only on the game, since they've gone out of their way to start trouble with me, not the other way around. Watching the video, you actually see players going out of their way to start trouble: asking if they can start a fight with me since they "enjoy" watching me "defend niggers" as even the admins were calling it. Hairy, the way you say "drama", and "haven for racists", sounds like you're sticking up for them, or don't believe they are racists. Huh, considering nothing but ignorant racism, slurs, and overall stupidity leaves the common players thought & put into text or words, on the AP server, it sure does resemble a "haven for racists", as you put it.

And I already PMed the same guy who unbanned me that one time, that I don't care much for this server, the forums here, or any of that other stuff... since other than video games being meaningless, and usually filled the the most ignorant & arrogant this world has to offer... I don't even play BG2 that often.

Haha. Amusing. I didn't cut my demo short, when you banned me, it gave me a "Warning: Connection Error" issue... so it never listed the reason until after the demo had already ended.

And, of course, the demo shows you say that people either agree with you admins or are banned. Why wouldn't they agree with you?

And "bashing" AP? I mentioned, as did some of you, that AP's beginning members came from 3D. And I mentioned 3D has been around longer, therefore was better; by seniority & maturity, as you have just proven.

Are you so sensitive at the thought that AP might not be the best server...? The way you just claimed that's why you banned me, because my comments showed that I believe 3D to be better, is somewhat disturbing... since I would assume you aren't a twelve year old (I could be wrong), therefore shouldn't be so sensitive about such things...

I figure this guy has had his say and this has gone on long enough, let's just close this thread. Aside from that, this is all going in a big circle.

Meh, in some ways, Hairy is right. This thread should be closed... it's existence, and the existence of my video logs, are too harsh to IRS... they show him as a common liar, in addition to other things... which I know to be asinine of myself to be smearing his name so much, even if he deserves it.

Right, it's just that nobody really cares anymore? What few people that were interesed in the first post on bgmod.com have continued to just play the game. You can play on 3D, it's not an oficial server either.

I suppose I could play on the 3D server, when it is up & makes it through my filter (basically, just has users). And I actually do play on it, now & then... like twice a month. As I said, I don't play BG2 all that often.

And no, IRS, even if you're just joking around, I don't believe I'd ever join AP. It'd be impossible to get along with fellow members; they are too shut up when it comes to seeing both sides of an argument, always declaring themselves right just because it comes from their mouths.

EDIT: I guess just for one last kick in the face I decided to check out the link in his profile to see if his clan did indeed have a better server than that of AP, I think his words were something like "I've hosted servers with a higher player average than AP". Well I got a link to his server on game-monitor.com, check it out:

Not a very good player average (0.01 players?) Compared to AP's average (6.50 some) I guess he thought that lower was better? Also AP's overall rank (Lower IS better here) is around 8500? Not too bad for a server only hosting BG2. This guy's server is at 111650? Mmm, yeah really on the low end of the ladder. But I guess just because we're in BG2 it doesn't matter and his is automaticly better. Oh well at least we tried guys.

Umm... okay Hairy? My current server I host... what of it? Doesn't mean I haven't hosted in the past. My CS server, from only a month ago, had averaged over 22 players. I don't host it too much anymore, since I also play graphically intensive games (bioshock, call of juarez, etc, etc) on the same computer.

Man, Hairy, you and your obsession with game-monitor seems unhealthy... and you're narrow-minded, to boot. I was saying ranking BG2 servers is pointless (in my multiple PMs to you)... because BG2 doesn't have more than ten people on for the entire mod each day, normally.

It's like trying to poll how many people know how to read by visiting three houses & families out of several hundred. Pointless, without accomplishment or hope of accomplishment.

And I don't know how you think I'm bashing the server (server itself, the machine that hosts it, gives a good ping, so it is good)... I'm bashing the admins, technically: since the videos I took make fun of them (IRS for complaining over losing at a video game & overreacting, others for showing that they don't think, they just say).

BTW: Amusing that you only unlock this thread when it suits you to respond. And, I remind you Harry, your obsession with ranking servers & living & dieing by that rank is unhealthy.

Despite the AP server being as bad as you claim it is, it's the number one server in a small game. You'd think maybe if people had as much of as problem with it as you did, nobody would play in it, instead going to 3D or out of the range of the admin abuse.
Or maybe in Tront for the official game.

I kinda like to think of it like AP is only 8499 ranks away from first place, you're 110000 some away. Given that you may have had a successful CS server, which congrats to you for doing such a great job, maybe if it's back up we can get a game going and laugh this all over?  
I thought it was pretty obvious that I wasn't posting that just to do a random compare with a Multi Theft Auto server that can hold 100+ players though?
What can I say though? I like statistics, I've just been using game-monitor as my standard I suppose. Wouldn't you rather have numbers instead of just believing; I mean doesn't that go hand in hand with what you said "they don't think, they just say"? Is it really "unhealthy" though? Do I really need reminding? Am I living and dying by it? "and you're narrow-minded, to boot"? Where did that come from? Yeah and technically I didn't unlock this thread, I don't even have admin here so don't bother saying I abuse it or anything like that.

Will your logic really change the AP server? Really wether you're bashing the server or its admins; you're like an illegal immigrant plaguing the United States. First you go out of your way to get in, then once you're in you smack someone in the face and say what they do is wrong and we all need to conform to you. How would you like it if I did that to you, it's as you said "not very nice". I am not racist, Agent isn't racist, nobody on this forum except for Alabama Al is racist. Ever heard a black guy call a white guy a "Cracker"? What would you do then; smack him in the face and demand he changes? Not likely. I believe that people always have freedom to do whatever they want, I have never seen an AP admin actually force someone to stay in the server and put up with racism.
And I believe if someone wants to use racial slurs in the server they pay for that they should be allowed to. And if someone wants to be angry that you owned them in combat let them, I've played CS before and I'm pretty sure AP isn't the only abusive server you've ever played on. But again if you think you've still got it all figured out; then reply again, but please make sure you've got all of what I just said memorized, I hate to step back to old references in older posts.

Anyhow enough of this for now, I guess if this isn't locked again by tomorrow I'll reply to your next post, then screenshot it and make videos and post it all over fileplanet and youtube and maybe I'll phone up Jesse Jackson.
