Currently BG2 1.1b is in its testing phase, but I decided to try out one of the beta tests held on the 5th of July (Yesterday) and thought I'd write a review on it, as well as post an updated client for download in case anyone else would like to try it.

dude, it sux....  they improved melee a slight bit from 1.0b but not by much.... no tracers on bullets, no seeing damage done, all that bs....   i dont think we switch unless something is done...  ie u hp! lol...  well i also think we need to have a 6v6 bfk vs own...

that should be easy for you since own has like 10 members in itself

It looks like (according to a post on bgmod.com made by Forlorn Hope) that the devs may finally release 1.1b on the 15th of this month. I'll begin work on the next version of HP the night before so it will be ready on the same day of the release.
Also they're going to be doing another beta test on this Friday, I'll likely repack the files and upload it to the AP web server so whoever wants to try it can download it directly.

The tests will be held at 12PM Eastern / 11AM Central / 9AM Pacific. They will probably last for an hour or so.

Is it me or I can't do that dam SVN thing they have it gets to 97% then error... makes me mad.

What's the error? I've had a conflicted file once or twice but other than that it works fine for me.
